hello, thank you for this read. i would like to know your opinions about the non-tech jobs. people in labour intensive and risky work, why is that we don't see an uproar about those jobs? coal mines, mining, oil fields, garbage cleaners, construction workers, etc. when the ukrainian war started, men were forced to fight whilst women and kids were free to migrate.
before you make any judgements about me, i am looking to have an open-ended discussion and open to different thoughts and perspectives.
I don't know why you want to know my opinions beyond the scope of my experiences. I have no opinions on non-tech jobs because I have not, as a matter of fact, ever worked a non-tech job.
thots is my journal of personal experiences, not a social commentary. I do not mean to make any judgements but this is also one of the things men do very often -- disregard actual lived women experiences and engage in whataboutery.
also, you don't see uproar about those jobs (you would if you search the right places) because it was men that decided that men are fitting for the jobs you just mentioned (probably because they ARE physically more able and suited for them)
ok, that last point makes a lot of sense. thank you for pointing that out. never thought it that way. interesting!
i was no where trying to disregard actual lived experiences. i was just trying to understand your perspectives it. you mentioned you don't want to make any judgements but you did.
that's the issue, even if i want to understand something from a different perspective by questioning the thought, people start making judgements.
alright, I get it. I hope this gives some perspective. also, that was just me playing on the 'before you make any judgements about me' in your comment :P no judgements FR!
bro I don’t think even I thot about my thot as much as you thot about yours. just the effort is very very flattering tho. can I share this on my socials/with friends?
